President and CEO

Bob is President & CEO of Alliance Advisory Group, Inc. He has been a General Agent for The Guardian since 1979 in Buffalo, New York and offices in Upstate New York.

Bob is a graduate of the University at Buffalo and received his Masters in Financial Services from the American College in 1994. He began his career as a Special Agent with Prudential in 1968. During his nine years with Prudential, he was a Sales Manager and an Associate Manager.

In the industry, he has taught Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and served as an AMTC moderator. He is past President of the Buffalo Chapter of the American Society of Insurance Professionals, past President of the Western New York Chapter of the General Agents and Managers Association (GAMA), and a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

Bob has spoken throughout the country to industry and non-industry groups, and was the main platform speaker for LAMP in New Orleans in 2004.

Within The Guardian, he has served on the Field Advisory Board and as Chairman in 1997 and 1998. His agency has been a two-time runner-up for The Guardian’s President Cup and a consistent leader in the company.

The agency is a six-time recipient of GAMA’s Master Agency Award. Currently he serves on GAMA’s Foundation Board of Trustees and is Fundraising Chairman.

In the community, he serves on the Board of Trustees for the Roswell Park Cancer Institute and the Forest Lawn Heritage Foundation.

He is married to his high school sweetheart of 41 years. He has two children, both of whom are in the business. His daughter, Lori is a Disability Insurance Specialist with the agency in Rochester. His son, Jim is a leader in the Buffalo office and a qualifier for Top of the Table. He also has six grandchildren.
