Michael was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. Here he attended Erie Community College for his Associates Degree, then transferred to University of Buffalo and graduated with his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
While going through high school, Mike was attracted to the finance field because of his interest in investing. He began to read financial literature and talk to professionals in the finance field. Soon after, Mike realized that financial literature was more than just investing and he realized how undertaught financial literacy was in schools. This created his passion to help financially educate people on all financial topics.
Growing up, Mike played travel baseball and hockey and also for his high school teams. Now, his hobbies still include hockey, but also golfing, and jet skiing on Lake Erie. He also has a Rottweiler that he enjoys taking for walks and to parks. Mike is also a huge fan of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres and he attends as many games as possible.
