Nearly my entire day, personally and professionally, is focused on others – my existing clients, my future clients, my team and my family – so talking about or writing about myself does not come easily. However, I value authenticity in a big way and refuse to include a description of myself in third person.
Our mission is to help individuals create a path toward financial success. One of the foundational aspects of this path is our education-based model focused on addressing common pitfalls of traditional financial planning and illuminating our firm’s philosophy and belief system around money.
As we have expanded, our ideal client profile has as well. While strong cash flow (income) is a key aspect of this profile, along with investable assets, our non-negotiables are: coachability, high drive, financial responsibility and aligned values. In the early 2010s, much of my focus was on working with women professionals, highlighted by a two-year research projected I conducted, gauging financial awareness and readiness of women in our community. Today, while part of our focus remains on empowering women, we work with professionals and business owners of all gender identities. The highest concentration of non-business owner clients over the past 12-24 months have been individuals with thriving careers in sales and engineers (our meticulous process and attention to detail aligns with the latter perfectly).
Family and community are ultra-important to me and is to most of my clients as well.
Over the years, I have been involved in The Junior League of Buffalo (JLB), the University at Buffalo (UB) Child Care Center, Buffalo Hearing and Speech and Peaceprints of WNY (providing personal financial education classes through Houghton College).
Since starting my career with the Alliance Advisory Group, Inc. in 2005, I have earned recognition as the firm’s Rising Star (2006) and Soaring Eagle (2015).
I’m a native of California and graduate of California State University, Fullerton and moved to Buffalo in 2003 with my husband – Jake, a Navy veteran and co-owner of BuffaloCryo. We live in Tonawanda, NY with our children – Logan, Hannah and Ethan. A super active family of five, we love the Buffalo Bandits and getting the kids active in lacrosse, basketball dance and swimming
